I’m Ying Zhu, an illustrator and visual designer currently based in Glasgow.
My work blends printmaking, narrative drawing, and research-led visual exploration. I am especially interested in how the body carries memory—through marks, scars, piercings, and everyday rituals.

I enjoy working across different mediums, from copperplate etching and pop-up books to tattoo sketches and observational drawings. Across all of them, I aim to create visuals that are emotionally grounded, sensitive, and visually layered.
