Beautiful Scars “美丽的伤疤”

"Beautiful Scars" draws inspiration from my piercing experiences, where each mark on my body serves as a poignant reminder of specific moments. While these memories may not always be pleasant, they have become integral knots in the tapestry of my life, much like the ancient practice of cord knotting for remembrance. Through piercings, I inscribe these memories onto my body, aiming for a profound connection with those fleeting moments. The scars on my body, resembling ancient knots, symbolize pivotal moments in my life, bearing witness to my growth. With every healing wound, I experience a rebirth, a renewal of my body. Beyond the beauty of these scars emerges a new self, adorned with beautiful accessories. In moments of pain, adrenaline and dopamine flow, and during wound healing, numerous cells fight on my behalf. These reflections embolden me to confront new challenges courageously.

The project consists of three watercolor and plastic clay paintings. Post-painting, I customized scarves to enhance the presentation. Initially, I intended to create earrings to visualize the cells in my body, symbolizing courage for the future. Despite not completing the earrings within the specified time, I find solace in the symbolic journey of healing and renewal.

“美丽的伤疤”的灵感源于我的穿孔经历，我身上的每一道印记都承载着一段段刻骨铭心的记忆。这些记忆或许并非总是美好的，但它们已然成为我生命织锦中不可或缺的结，如同古老的绳结，承载着永恒的记忆。通过穿孔，我将这些记忆铭刻于身，力求与那些转瞬即逝的瞬间建立深厚的联系。我身上的伤疤，如同古老的绳结，象征着我生命中的关键时刻，见证着我的成长。每一次伤口的愈合，都如同一次重生，一次身体的更新。在这些伤​​疤的美丽背后，一个全新的自我正在浮现，并佩戴着美丽的饰品。在疼痛的时刻，肾上腺素和多巴胺涌动；在伤口愈合的过程中，无数细胞为我而战。这些感悟激励着我勇敢地面对新的挑战。

该项目包含三幅水彩和塑料黏土画作。画作完成后，我定制了围巾来提升作品的呈现效果。最初，我打算制作一对耳环，用以形象化地展现我体内的细胞，象征着对未来的勇气。虽然没能在规定时间内完成耳环，但我从这段象征着治愈和重生的旅程中找到了慰藉。
